Account Level

Understanding the Account Level System in Red Covenant

In Red Covenant, the Account Level, also known as Player Level, represents the overarching progress of the player across the game. This system is crucial for unlocking new features and managing the Vigor (stamina system) required to engage in various game stages and content. Here's a detailed overview of how this system operates:

Starting and Maximum Account Level

  • Initial Level: Every player begins their journey at Level 1.

  • Maximum Level: The cap is set at Level 100, but this maximum can vary, being periodically increased with new game patches to extend player progression opportunities.

Gaining Player EXP

  • EXP Acquisition: Player EXP is earned by spending Vigor to participate in game stages or content. This ties the player's progression to active participation in the game.

  • EXP-Vigor Ratio: The amount of EXP gained directly corresponds to the amount of Vigor expended. This ensures a straightforward progression mechanism.

  • Overflow Mechanism: EXP can carry over beyond the requirements for the next level. For instance, if a player needs just 1 EXP to level up but spends 10 Vigor (and thus earns 10 EXP), the remaining 9 EXP will contribute towards the subsequent level.

Reaching the Max Account Level

  • Beyond the Level Cap: Once players hit the current account level cap, instead of accumulating more Player EXP, they receive Devotions and Geld, the game's currency.

  • Conversion Rate: The conversion of EXP to Geld operates on an internal formula, turning excess experience into tangible in-game value.

  • Devotion Rewards: Players earn Devotion for a certain EXP gained after reaching the level cap. This provides ongoing rewards for continued play, even at the cap.

  • Cap Increases: Should the level cap be raised in a new patch, any accumulated EXP towards Devotions resets, allowing players to progress in levels as usual, emphasizing continuous engagement and adaptation to game updates.

This Account Level system not only marks the player's overall progress but also strategically integrates with the game's stamina mechanic, currency, and reward structures, encouraging consistent engagement while rewarding long-term dedication to the game.
